Victoria Lynn Morton was born January 26, 1954 in Ketchikan, Alaska to Duane and Franette (Bryant) Vincent. Vicki and her family came to Rockdale where she attended school and graduated in 1972 from Rockdale High School. She then enrolled in Durham's Business College in Austin and after graduation from there she worked for the University of Texas. On December 30, 2003, she and Kennard Lee Morton were married in Deanville. She made her home in Black Jack the past 10 years. Vicki enjoyed her Bible lessons with RHS Bible Group and Scripture Group and being a homemaker. Vicki passed away on a Wednesday morning at her home in the Black Jack Community. She was preceded in death by her father, Duane Thomas Vincent on February 5, 2007 and her granddaughter, Victoria Azlynn Rayne Nelms on June 11, 2011. A celebration of her life was held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with burial in the Black Jack Cemetery. Rev.
