William T. Blaney died at his home, corner of Washington and Mason streets, Tuesday afternoon, at the age of 49 years, 9 months. He was a member of the 10th Massachusetts Battery in the war, and since 1885 had been a member of Post 82, G.A.R. He was an Odd Fellow and a member of the year old Veteran Firemen's Association. The cause of his death was diabetes. For three years deceased had conducted a shoe store.
