AMENT - On July 4, 1906, after a brief illness, at his residence, No. 1124 North Fremont avenue, MATTHIAS AMENT, in his 69th year.

The funeral will take place from the above residence on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment (private) in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Matthias Ament, 69 years old, died at his home, 1124 North Fremont avenue, Wednesday at 10:45 A.M., after a long illness. He had been suffering from inflammatory rheumatism for many years, but his condition was not thought serious until two days before his death.

Coming to Baltimore from Germany with his parents when 14 years of age, Mr. Ament attended the schools of the city and later became a merchant. For a number of years he was a prominent grain and feed dealer in Northwest Baltimore.

Mr. Ament married Miss Katherine Creamer, of this city, who died nearly two years ago. He leaves five children - Messrs. J. W., George F., Matthias, Jr., and John Ament, and Mrs. Elizabeth Woolmer, all of Baltimore.

The funeral will take place Sunday at 2 P.M.
