Paul L. Ebersole, 95, of Brethren Village, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Hospice and Community Care in Lancaster.

He was the husband of the late Anna Ruth Forney Charles Ebersole, who passed away in 1990. He had also been married to the late Dorothy A. Hain who passed away in 2002. Born in East Hempfield Township, Paul was the son of the late Henry S. and Dora L. Longenecker Ebersole.

Paul had worked for 19 years as a carpenter for the Hempfield School District until retiring in 1982. Prior to this, he had worked for his uncle, C.S. Ebersole as a carpenter from 1938 until 1962.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he served as a carpenter and Tech 5 from 1942 to 1943.

Paul was a member of Hempfield Church of The Brethren.

Friends will be received on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 1 to 2PM at the chapel at Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA, with the Memorial Service to follow at 2PM, the Rev. Dana Statler officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Paul's memory to Hempfield Church of The Brethren, 1186 Stevens St., Manheim, PA 17545.
