Gail Louise Adams April 14, 1944 - Jan. 11, 2006 Gail Louise (Cowden) Adams passed away January 11, 2006 at Mt. Diablo hospital after a valiant struggle with cancer. Gail was born in Martinez, CA to Glenn and Marguerite Cow-den and resided in Concord all her life. She graduated from Mt. Diablo High School in 1962. She was employed at Monte Gardens Elementary School in Concord for 27 years and spent her summers working at Gehringer Pool. Gail is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dwain Adams, daughter Jill Roach (and Ron) of Concord, Gregg Adams (and Leslie) of Rohnert Park and Angie Conlon (and Kevin) of Pleasant Hill. She also leaves her "angel" grandsons, Brooks and Brady Roach, Tyler Adams and Kyle Conlon and baby brother due in April. She is also survived by her sister, Glenda Culemann (and Lee) of Brentwood. Gail's most precious moments were spent with her kids and grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She loved her job working with children. She was compassionate, caring and nurturing to everyone around her. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel at 4125 Clayton Road, Concord CA. Services for Gail will be held on Monday, January 16, 2006 at 11:00a.m. at St Boneventure's Church, 5562 Clayton Road, Concord CA. A celebration of her life will be held following the service at Centre Concord 5298 Clayton Road, Concord, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gail Adams Memorial Fund made payable to "DBPC c/o Gail Adams" and sent to Diablo Basics Parents Club at Monte Gardens, c/o Gail Adams, 3841 Larkspur Drive, Concord, CA 94519 Ouimet Bros.
