" Mrs. Louise Tway Stricken Sunday - Ladysmith Woman Had Suffered Broken Hip: Burial at Thorp
Mrs. Louise Tway, 70, of Ladysmith, died at St. Mary's hosp. Sunday. She had suffered a broken hip in a fall about seven wks. ago. Death was due to complications.
Last rites were held at the McElravy funeral home Wed. at 2 p.m. with Rev. Charles W. Langdon officiating. The body was then taken to Thorp where further services were held Thurs. and where interment was made.
Louise Lauson was born at New Holstein, Wis., Sept 3, 1877. She grew to womanhood in that area. Her marriage to Merton Mallinson took place on 1909. They resided in Thorp. Mr. Mallinson died in 1923.
A second marriage to Edward Tway took place in Duluth, Minn. Dec. 9, 1923. They resided for many yrs. in Ladysmith. Mr. Tway was accidentally killed in a traffic mishap in 1946.
Mrs. Tway was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are two children, Harold Mallinson and Mrs. Lee Strand (Myrle), both of Ladysmith; two stepchildren, Mrs. Frank Gordon, Ladysmith, and Ed Tway, Rinelander; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Edw. Grogan, Neenah; a son died at birth."
