Mr. Donald Ray Stancil, 46, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown.
Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Horace Edward and Willie Jo Brake Stancil, Mr. Stancil was a CNA and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are two brothers, Michael E. Stancil of Clayton, GA, and, Douglas D. Stancil of the home; one adopted brother, Larry E. Atwood of Powdersville; two sisters, Jennifer Marie Stancil of Princeton, and Verlene S. Homesley of Anderson; a nephew, Johnny David Williams, of Greenville, and a niece, Tiffany Renee Williams, of Anderson.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Stancil was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Dale Stancil.
Graveside services were 3:00 PM Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery, Fair Play.
