Mount Holly - Mrs. Molly Esther Williams Burgess died early Wednesday morning in a Charlotte hospital. She had been in failing health for more than two years. Born February 4, 1905, in Mecklenburg County, she was a daughter of Bryant W. and Sarah Ellen Skipper Williams. She had lived in this area for 13 years. Surviving are the husband, William Mack Burgess, one daughter, a brother and a sister, Mrs. Ida Ware of Charlotte. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Pentecostal Holiness church. Graveside services were to be held at Weddington Methodist Church Cemetery.
