Wheeless Baby Dies of Strychnine Poisoning
Leedell Green, the two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harter Green of Wheeless Community was a victim of accidental poisoning last Saturday, which proved fatal.
Several strychnine tablets had been removed by the child's mother from their regular place of keeping articles she intended to destroy according to reports. The child entered the room and ate one of the tablets before it was noticed.
Medical aid was reached quickly as possible, but too late to overcome the effects of the poison.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Alvin Murray Sunday afternoon. Interment was made in the Mexhoma Cemetery---Boise City News
