Waterville, Me July 10, 1924 - Alfred Breton, 53, died today of injuries received this morning when a cable with which a locomotive was being hauled to a transfer table at the Maine Central car shops here snapped, the end striking him in the face and chest. Breton, who was employed as a sweeper, was at work near the table. He leaves a widow and 10 children. (The Lewiston Daily Sun 7/11/1924)
