Roselyn was born on September 24, 1923 in Buford, Georgia near Flowery Branch to Lucius and Bethel Duncan. She grew up on a farm, the 2nd of 6 children. She was a good student, graduating ahead of her grade from Dacula High School and attended North Georgia College. In January of 1946 she married Lt. John Paul Turner in Atlanta. They raised a family, lived overseas in England, Libya and Japan. She remained independent and active throughout her life. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Roselyn participated with Lawrenceville parks and recreation, her Sunday School Class and was an avid bridge player all her adult life. She will be missed by her family and many friends
The Service Honoring the Life of Roselyn D. Turner will be held Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2:00PM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. Interment Sardis Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 12:00noon until time of the service at the funeral home.
