Funeral Saturday For
Rev. William Beveridge

Funeral services for the Rev. William Beveridge, 77, pastor of the Seventeenth Street Christian Assembly, Seventeenth and Herr Streets, who died at a local hospital yesterday, will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Henry S. Fisher Funeral Home, 1334 North Second Street, with the Rev. William H. Hunter, pastor of the Gospel Chapel, Fairhaven, Mass., a lifelong friend and coworker in the church, officiating. Burial will be in the East Harrisburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home between 7 and 9 o'clock Friday evening.

The Rev. Mr. Beveridge, who resided at Overview, Mechanicsburg, R. D. 4, was born in Scotland and was pastor of churches in the British Isles, United States and Canada at various times. He was located in Harrisburg for thirty-five years.

He is survived by a brother, Hugh Beveridge, New Bedford, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Annie Hatch, Riverside, N. J., and a number of nieces and nephews.
