Thomas E Pate, age 71, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, 11/17/2013 at Conway, AR. He was born on September 22, 1942 in Enola, Arkansas to his parents, Carles E Pate and Vestal O McCaig.

Thomas was the oldest of seven children. He married Mrs. Wilma Pate in Conway, Arkansas on June 29, 1969. They had two children. He served in the Army for six years. He was a current resident of Conway, Arkansas for 25 years. He was employed by Arko as a machine operator for 13 years. Thomas was a member of Liberty Church of The Nazarene. He enjoyed and cherished his family. He also enjoyed watching Nascar races.

Thomas will be remembered by his loving wife, Wilma and their children: Lesa R Cantrell of Cromwell, Oklahoma and Therisa Ladonna Nichols (Saud) of Conway, Arkansas. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Angel, David, Blue, Sarah, Latifah, and Donna. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren. His brother, Charles and his sisters, Wanda, Becky, and Susan. Also a host of extended family and friends. Thomas was preceded in death by His mother and father, Carles and Vestal, stepmother Rose. His brother Jimmy and his sister, Lois. A neice Laura.


A visitation will be held at the Griffin Leggett Conway Chapel on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 6-8PM.

Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral for Thomas at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Griffin Leggett Conway Chapel. Burial will follow at Marcus Hill
