Raymond Cody Bennett, 28, of Spartanburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 15, 2005, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Son of Ricky H. Bennett and Susan (Fain Bennett of Spartanburg, he was a graduate of Dorman High School, a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he continued his education, a restaurant manager for Wild Wings Café in Spartanburg, and a member of Stone Station Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to his parents of the home, include one daughter, Marissa Bennett of Spartanburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Ashley Bennett; and a niece, Layla Grey Bennett of Woodruff.

Visitation will be held at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Woodruff.

Graveside services were held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2005 at Green Pond Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev. Rob Gouge and Rev. Keith Davis.
