Living MorrowThe Nelson Gazette (Nelson, NE), Thursday, July 21, 1966; pg. 5

Word was received Tuesday of the death of Mrs. Robert R. Morrow in New York earlier that day. Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, and burial will be in the family plot at Glen's Falls, New York.

Libbie C., the daughter of Moses A. and Josephine (Stickler) Adamson was born September 11, 1885, near Angus, and passed away July 19, 1966, at the age of 80 years and 10 months in the Cambridge, New York hospital.

At an very early age she with her brother, Glenn, lost their mother by death and were cared for by their grandparents in Iowa until their father's second marriage to Emma F. Roberts of Hollansburg, Ohio.

The family then moved to a farm east of Nelson where Mrs. Morrow grew to womanhood and received her education. She was a graduate of the Nelson schools in the Class of 1903 and also attended the State Teachers' College at Emporia, Kansas. She taught school for several years in Nelson where she met her husband, Robert B. Morrow, who was Superintendent of the Schools at one time.

Early in life Mrs. Morrow made her confession of Faith and was baptized in the Little Blue River north of Nelson and became a member of the First Christian Church here, later transfering (sic) to a Methodist church in New York.

On July 18, 1918 she was married to Robert Rising Morrow at Lincoln and for a few years they were in school work in Iowa and New York when they retired to a farm to rear their family. To this union were born four sons and two daughters: Robert of Newfield, N.Y., Earl of Chicago, Ill., Robert (sic) Mrs. Richard Pekins) of Salem, and Everest and Emerson of New York. (NOTE: Although it states they had six children, this is typed exactly like it is in the newspaper and only five are mentioned.)

Besides the family she is survived by her husband, Robert, sixteen grandchildren, her sister, Mrs. Hazel Statz, two brothers, H. McKinley Adamson and Whitfield Adamson of Cherokee, Iowa, many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Preceeding (sic) her in death were her parents and brother Glenn and an infant daughter.
