Janie Sue Brandes Harris. She was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up in Flint, Michigan. Janie was a daughter, wife, mother of four, grandmother of one, and friend. She graduated from Flint Central High School in 1962. Janie and Jim met in 1960, corresponded for the next three years, then married in Maryland in 1964. She lived her adult life in Swartz Creek, Michigan, being daughter, wife, mom and Home Interiors and Gifts displayer and manager. In the early 1990's we made some life altering decisions, retired, and moved to Florida and a new home. Good decisions, good move, we just ran out of time!
