Ernest "Ernie" Bell, 91, of Bloomington, passed away on Tuesday November 19, 2013 at the IU Health Hospice House with his family at his side.

Ernie was born July 23, 1922 in Bloomington, and was the son of Irvin and Ellen (Sprowles) Bell. He worked for 34 years as a supervisor at Sarkes Tarzian and ST Semicon. He was a member of Turning Point Apostolic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Wilma Bell of Bloomington, daughter Georgia Cook (John) of Bloomington, 3 granddaughters Trina Chandler (Robert), Tressa Fullen and Crystal Crider (David), 4 great grandchildren Donavon Fullen, Noah Crider, Sydney Crider and Kirsten Chandler, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Clara Koressel, Alberta Biedenkopf, and Imogene Mitchell, and brother Irvin Bell.

Services for Ernie will be 11:00 am Saturday November 23, 2013 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington. Pastor Ron Hawkins will officiate the service and entombment will follow the service at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Friday November 22, 2013 from 4-8 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am until service time at The Funeral Chapel.
