Antone B. (Tony) Enas Jr. Farmer Antone B. (Tony) Enas Jr., 89, of Tulare passed away on November 18, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born on November 11, 1924 in Visalia California and was the only son of 8 children born to Antone B. and Adelaide C. Enas. He attended local elementary schools and graduated from Visalia High School. He began his career in cotton farming with his father in Visalia and Pixley, California, which eventually would include corn and grape vineyards. He was a member of the Lions Club, the Knights of Columbus, 3rd degree and a member of the SPDES and served as president in 1982. His public services included serving on the Tulare County Grand Jury for two years, serving as the president on the Board of the Pixley Irrigation District from 1974 to 1983. He was on the Tule River Coop Board for 6 ½ years, and served on the Pixley Union Elementary School Board from 1961 to 1967. He was preceded in death by his parents Antone and Adelaide Enas and his sisters, Ursula Enas, Marie Miranda, Adelaide Ross and Delphina Perry. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Mary Celeste Enas. His son Rodney (Rhea Ann) Enas of Tulare, his daughters Dian (Anthony) Nunes of Sibley, Iowa and Becky (Jim) Lysiak of Susanville. His step-daughter Lynn (Ralph) Lewis of Tulare. His stepchildren Judy Lemos of Fresno, Manuel Lemos of Pismo Beach, daughter -in-law Peggy Lemos of Tulare, Celeste (RJ) Slaughter of Tulare and Frank (Jill) Lemos of Dos Palos. His sisters Margaret Enas of Visalia, Victoria Mayhew of Washington and Amelia Cotta of Visalia. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren: Congressman Devin (Elizabeth) Nunes, Anthony (Lori) Nunes, Caleb Vierra, Cambria Enas, Ryan Kinsel, Evan (Johannah) Kinsel, Jared Lemos, Joseph (Cara) Lemos, Krista Lemos, Jeff Syra, Kimberly Carver, Ashley Slaughter, Michael (Polly) Lemos, Kacy (CJ) Lemos-Lelievre, and Sean Lemos. Who lovingly referred to him as "Grandpa Grapes". And 16 great-grandchildren.
