SPARTANBURG - Rodney Ree Ruppe, 29, of 175 Wardlaw Ave., died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007.
A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of Elaine Lemons Berry of Spartanburg and Ricky Ree Ruppe and wife, Celeste, of Blacksburg. He was employed by Loram and was of the Baptist faith.
Also surviving are a sister, April Ruppe of Spartanburg; two brothers, Eric Ruppe of Spartanburg and Michael Richardson of Black Mountain, N.C.; maternal grandparents, Bonnie and J.D. Hardin; and paternal grandparents, Christine and Relson Ruppe.
Mr. Ruppe was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Richardson.
Services were held at State Line Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. John Queen. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jason Ledford, Jason Gossett, David Scruggs, Jeff Scruggs, Chris Blake and George Greene.
Visitation was held at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee.
