His Obituary:
Thomas Honey Dies Saturday --
Thomas Eli Honey, of Estill Springs, died Saturday in Harton Memorial Hospital in Tullahoma after a lenghty illness. He was 83.
Mr. Honey, a native of Tennessee, was a veteran of World War I and a member of Disable Veterans Post 71. He was the son of Tom and Lizzie Hall Honey.
Funeral services were held Monday at Watson Funeral Home in Winchester with Rev. O. P. Ethridge and Brother Alvie Hostetler officiating.
Burial was at Memorial Park in Winchester.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maude Mae Barnes Honey; two step-daughters, Lena Mae Robertson and Ruby Ledford of Winchester Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Couch and Miss Alice Honey of Winchester; two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
