CURRY MAN DIES
Eugene G. Peirce of Port Orford passed away in the hospital at Gold Beach, March 16, 1936, at the age of 67 years, 11 months, seven days. He was taken to Gold Beach from the Leep Hospital two weeks ago after having been cared for here for several months, following a stroke of paralysis. Deceased had been a resident of Curry County for many years. He was a brother of the former joint representative from Coos and Curry counties, S. P. Peirce. Funeral services were held in Bandon at the Schroeder Chapel Wednesday afternoon. Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery.
Eugene Grace PEIRCE, son of Charles H. Peirce and Sarah O'Leary Lowe was born 21 Dec 1866 at Fort Steilacoom, Washington Territory, now Pierce County, WA, where is father was commanding officer.
