Funeral services for Wilmoth Laverne Schuessler will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the Boswell First Baptist Church, with Pastor Jarrod Wright and Pastor Rick Austin officiating, with burial following in the Restland Cemetery in Boswell, OK. Wilmoth passed peacefully from this earth surrounded by close family and loved ones on Saturday, November 16, 2013, in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 93. Wilmoth Schuessler was born September 12, 1920 in Boswell, OK, the daughter of David Harmon and Bertha (Fisher) Dancer.

She married James Earl Schuessler on September 6, 1941 in Soper, Oklahoma. Wilmoth had lived in this area her entire life and was a member of the Boswell First Baptist Church. At the church she served in numerous capacities throughout her life.

Wilmoth's role in life grew as she began having grandchildren. She became fondly known as Nannie to all her grandchildren and all their friends and extended family. She loved caring for everyone and attending as many activities as she could through the years. With the help of her daughter, Sharon, she continued to serve Sunday lunch for her family and all the extended family she helped raise.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Schuessler; her son Kent Schuessler and wife Sue Schuessler; three brothers, W.S., Dan, and D.L.; nine sisters, Muriel, Lessie, Estella, Sylvia, Goldie, Prebble, Betty, Dot, and Joan.

Wilmoth is survived by one daughter, Sharon Manous and special son-in-law, John L. Manous of Boswell, OK; eight grandchildren, Pebbles, Brent, Daray, Gina, Kolinda, Toby, Karl, and JC; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 18, 2013, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Boswell First Baptist Church. Family and friends are also invited to sign the guest book or send private condolences to the family at www.mtolivefh.com.
