Graduated from Spaulding High School- 1965 and attended Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center.

Veteran - US Army,1966-1968, served in Germanyhe served in the United States Army in Germany.

Married his wife Carolyn in 1983. They made their home in Barre until moving to Washington in 2006.

Member of the Barre City Fire Department for 33 years as a firefighter, EMT and as the deputy chief until he retired

Survived by his wife; his children and their spouses; four grandchildren; a sister and many extended family members

Predeceased by parents, his father-in-law, Wayne Farnham, and his brother-in-law Kevin Farnham

Interment- Maple Hill Cemetery in Washington.
