COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Mamie Herron Parks, 92, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parks died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006, in Bethesda Health Care.
Her family includes a sister, Clara Thomas of Cookeville; a daughter and soninlaw, Lucy and Joe Cassidy of Poquoson, Va.; a soninlaw, Kenneth Wagoner of Crossville; two grandchildren, Debra Wagner of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Derrick Wagoner of Coon Rapids, Minn.; a nephew, Clay Thomas of Baltimore, Md.; a niece, Frieda Boyd of Cookeville; and numerous greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Silvanus Parks; two daughters, Janis Parks and Blanche Wagoner; two brothers, Dewey and Ewin Herron; and two sisters, Cordie Dunson and Carrie Cobb.
