Floyd McKamey, 84, of Ooltewah passed away in a Chattanooga hospital on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013.
He was born March 2, 1929, to the late Jessie and Everee Burres McKamey. He had been a resident of the Chattanooga area since 1989.
He loved fishing and was also a beekeeper. He was the oldest of 14 children.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and all of his siblings except two brothers.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, James McKamey (Marlene); his daughter, Sherlene Poole (Gary); and two brothers, Doyle and Jerry McKamey.
The family will receive friends in the parlor of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2415 Georgetown Road in ßCleveland, from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
