GLASGOW — Jack A. Brown Sr., 62, died Feb. 8, 2011, at his residence.

He was a Vietnam veteran and a member of the Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV. He was a son of the late Jack Leonard and Louise Brown and Harry and Pearl Runyon. He was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia "Cindy" Brown; a brother, Fred H. "Harvey" Brown; and two sisters-in-law, Linda Runyon Clark and Dorothea "Dottie" Gray.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. today at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian A. Runyon Brown; two sons, Jack A. Brown Jr. and his wife, Julie, and Kevin R. Brown and his wife, Kristel; five grandsons, Leiam B. "Angel Baby" Brown, Colin D. Brown, Jaren M. Brown, Jackson Brown and Craig Wayne Harp Jr.; a sister, Cheryl A. Brown Sanchez and her husband, Johnny; four brothers-in-law, William R. "Tucker" Runyon, Russell "Rusty" Runyon and his wife, Mary, Steven "Stevie" Runyon and his wife, Jenna, and Bradley "Brad" Runyon and his wife, Kristy; five sisters-in-law, Rita Runyon Moss, Wilma Runyon Landrum and her husband, Mike, Nora Runyon Miller and her husband, David, Connie Runyon Harp and her husband, Wayne, and Amy Runyon; four sons not by birth but by love, Joshua "Josh" Traylor, Jason "Whitey" Russell, Michael "Mikey" Harrison and Kyle "Keith" Brooks; and several nieces and nephews.
