Honea Path – James Walker Risner, 91, husband of Marie Smith Risner, of 302 Green Street, died November 16, 2013 at his home. Born in Hart County GA, he was the son of the late C.L. and Annie Thrasher Risner. He attended Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church, retired from Chiquola Manufacturing, and was a retired self employed plumber. Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 70 years of the home are: three daughters, Rebecca Phillips (Robert) of Honea Path, Bobbie Jo Ashley (Roger) of Honea Path, and Judy Wood (Jeff) of Greenwood, and a sister, Jean White (Boyd) of Anderson, five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by an infant son, two sisters, Myrte Ramey and Jodie Smith, and a granddaughter, Traci Magaha. Burial in Garden of Memories. Parker-White-Pruitt Funeral Home.
