Annie Glenn Brower Beasley, age 94, of Statesboro passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Brown's Health Rehab in Statesboro.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Rollins officiating. Burial was at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Ms. Beasley was born in Screven County, and was a seamstress and a member of Springfield Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Beasley; parents, Dan W. and Ada Bazemore Brower, sons, Joseph Daniel Hodges and Robert Earl Hodges and daughter, Annie Hortense Thornton.

Survivors include a daughter: and son-in-law: Diane and Charles Young of Savannah; a son and daughter-in-law: Edsel W. and Earlene Hodges of Garfield; a step-son and daughter-in-law: Ronnie and Sara Beasley of Rincon; daughters-in-law: Sallie M. Hodges of Millen and Jewel Hodges of Guyton; grandchildren, Angie Mahany, Patricia Cook, Robert Young, Jimmy Bragg and Jason Young, all of Savannah, Eddie Hodges and Krystal M Hodges, both of Millen, James Bragg of Orlando, Fla. and Julie Hodges of Guyton; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Andy Pitts, Christopher Hodges, Robert Young, Jason Young, David Hodges and Eddie Hodges.
