Macomb, IL - Elizabeth Jane Montgomery, 85, of 1200 E. Grant St. passed away at 6:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Wesley Village Healthcare.

She was born May 24, 1928 in Marshall, IL, the daughter of Joseph T. and Lillie D. Prather Connelly. She married Kenneth W. Montgomery on September 4, 1949 in Petersburg, Illinois. He passed away on December 11, 2011.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Margaret Ann Howard in 2005, one brother, Joseph Jr., two sisters, Anne and Sarah.

Surviving are one son-in-law, Bruce Howard; one grandson, Brian Howard; two brothers-in-law, Gary Gray and Richard Carlson; and several nieces and nephews.

Jane and her husband owned the Owl and Pussy Cat Antique Shop and they exhibited at flea markets and antique shows all around the Midwest.

Cremation has been accorded. Burial of ashes will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.
