Daniel W. Boyle 59, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2009, surrounded by his family. He was born in Indianapolis on July 20, 1949 to John E. and Jane C. Boyle.

He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1971. Prior to his retirement, he had been the president of a title insurance agency.

Survivors include his brother, John M. Boyle (Marcia) of Ellicott City, MD and his sister, Joanne B. Friedmeyer of Indianapolis; three nieces, Megan E. Guptill (Joshua), Lauren J. Sprague (Jeremy) and Kristin E. Trainor (Matthew); one nephew, John G. Boyle (Tara); and two greatnieces, Caroline P. Guptill and Rebecca J. Sprague.

Friends and family may gather on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. in the Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church.
