Born Christmas Day, 1917, in Logan, Utah to John Barrett and Frances Mary Child Linton. Married John Robert Code, Nov. 12, 1939. Mother of 4 daughters and 2 sons; Peggy Ingram, Ogden; Mrs. Joseph (Jeri) Holbrook, Riverdale; Mrs. Dale (Sharon) Sansom, Farmington; Michael Code, Roy, Utah; John Code, Mesa, Arizona; and Melody Isenhour, Bountiful. An accomplished musician, and composer of sacred choral music. A woman of great Faith and Courage, who unselfishly devouted her life to the Lord, her family and others. She was a devout member of the L.D.S. Church. She held many church positions and contributed her beautiful musical talents in countless ways. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, 20 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters and 3 brothers; Mrs. Lionel (Ann) Halverson, Mrs. Alan (Marjorie) Lambert, Lancelot Linton, James Linton, Kenneth Linton, Mrs. Melvin (Alice) Potter, and Edith Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Bountiful 53rd Ward Chapel, 1350 North 650 East, Bountiful.
Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the ward 1 hour prior to services. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery. N3 12/27
