Bertha G. Shields, 87, died November 6, 1990 at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Phyllis Shields, Endicott, Winifred and Justin Cady, Endwell; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. One sister, Erma Mitchell, Montrose, PA.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Endicott and a retired Endicott-Johnson employee. Funeral and interment services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott, NY. The Rev. Dr. Richard A. Seeley, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Endicott will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday, 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bertha may be made to the First Baptist Church, Endicott.
