Found in The State 24 February 1960: Louis Reeve Hagood, 80, of 3309 Cherry Hill Drive, Columbia, died at a local nursing home Tuesday evening after several weeks declining health. He was a member of Kilbourne Park Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Louise Johnson Hagood; two daughters, Mrs. Frank W. LaMotte of Columbia and Mrs. Norman M. Huckabee of Florence; two sons, Col. M. Johnson Hagood of Baltimore, Md., and Louise Reeve Hagood Jr., of Savannah, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. J. B. Bostick of Columbia.
