Errett Straley and Miss L. Lorine Culler, both of Winston-Salem, came to Greensboro yesterday and were married shortly after 2 o'clock in the parlor of Hotel Guilford. The ceremony was witnessed by only a few witnesses, including Mr. M. E. Culler, mother of the bride. Mr. Straley was born and reared in Australia, but after coming to America he spent some time in ministerial work in Pennsylvania and is now a minister in Winston-Salem. His bride is a handsome young woman and has been employed in the offices of a large tobacco manufacturing establishment in Winston-Salem.
(Note, I was told by a family member that Errett was born in the USA, but the above newspaper article stated he was born in Australia.)
