Glenda L. Phillips, 98, of Fountainview Terrace, died at 9:55 a.m. Tuesday in the nursing home. Mrs. Phillips was born Jan. 7, 1895, in Battle Creek, Mich., and lived in Mishawaka most of her life. On Oct. 2, 1915, in South Bend, as Glenda L. Keene, she married LeRoy Phillips. He died Jan. 28, 1983. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Aleene Phillips of South Bend; three grandsons, Richare C. of Niles and Jefferson R. and David J., both of South Bend; and three great-granddaughters. A son, Joe R. preceded her in death. She was a member of LaPorte United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. CST Friday in Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in the funeral home.
