Steven Paul Lovering, 47, of Bemidji died Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, at North Country Regional Hospital as a result of a work-related accident in his cabinet shop. Funeral services were at First Lutheran Church in Bemidji. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Lovering was born Nov. 7, 1950, at Bemidji, the son of Steven and Emily (Brooks) Lovering. He was a 1969 graduate of Bemidji High School and served several years in the Army Reserves. He and his partner, Jeff Janiksela, built a business called Precision Cabinets.
Survivors include his mother of Bemidji; a son, Michael Lovering; twin daughters, Jennifer and Jessica Lovering, all of Bemidji; three brothers, Ralph (Peggy) Lovering of Hopkins; Bruce Lovering and Gene Lovering, both of Bemidji; two sisters, Karen (Brian) Regnier of Andover; LuAnn Lovering of Bemidji; fiancée Mary Hanevold of Bemidji.
He was preceded in death by his father.
