Mr. Lovering was born Nov. 7, 1950, at Bemidji, the son of Steven and Emily (Brooks) Lovering. He was a 1969 graduate of Bemidji High School and served several years in the Army Reserves. He and his partner, Jeff Janiksela, built a business called Precision Cabinets.
Survivors include his mother of Bemidji; a son, Michael Lovering; twin daughters, Jennifer and Jessica Lovering, all of Bemidji; three brothers, Ralph (Peggy) Lovering of Hopkins; Bruce Lovering and Gene Lovering, both of Bemidji; two sisters, Karen (Brian) Regnier of Andover; LuAnn Lovering of Bemidji; fiancée Mary Hanevold of Bemidji.
He was preceded in death by his father.
