Beth Hartshorn Crawley passed away peacefully on November 16, 2012 at of the age of 88. She was born January 2, 1924 in Lehi, Utah to Robert and Esther Irene Roundy Hartshorn. Beth Graduated from BYU in 1946. She married Harold N. Crawley on January 10, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple. She taught school in Spanish Fork, Provo, and St. George. She lived in American Fork and Provo before moving to St. George in 1959. Beth served in many different organizations in the LDS church. Her greatest love in life was her children and grandchildren who will miss her dearly and will always remember her love, example and her selflessness.
Beth is survived by her children Janee Burr (Michael), Koosharen, UT; Jena Temple, Kaysville, Ut; Jill Hasshaw (Robert), Washington, UT; and Jinette Wadsworth (Ronald), Cedar City, UT; 12 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, brother Leon Hartshorn (Bea) Alpine, UT.
She was preceded in death by her son Robert Wesley Crawley, her parents and brother Robert Hartshorn.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at the St. George LDS East Stake Center, 449 South 300 East, St. George, UT. A viewing will be prior to services at the church beginning at 9:00 am. Arrangements are under the care of Heideman Hughes Mortuary 435-674-5000.
