By account received yesterday by a gentleman from Whitemarsh, we are informed of the following melancholy accident which happened there on Monday last viz. A Mr. Jacob Redheffer digging in a lime quarry, unguardedly removed a stone that supported a large mass which caused it to cave in upon him and put an end to his existence before he could receive any assistance whatever; he was taken out and decently interred on Tuesday: he was a sober, industrious man and has left a large family of children to lament the loss of their only support
