Carolyn was the daughter of Richard R. Bunch and Lillian Sawyer Bunch and the widow of Raymond A. Daoust, Sr. She was retired from the Elizabeth City Cotton Mill and a member of Fountain of Life Church, the Jewel Dean White Circle and the Adult Ladies Bible Class.
She is survived by four daughters, Venesa, Mellany, Deborah, and Bonnie; a son, Raymond; ten grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Elizabeth Simpson, Kathleen Barefoot, and Virginia Morse; two brothers, Willie Bunch and Hubert Bunch; a son-in-law, Bruce Pachol and two grandchildren.
