Sam Coker, 90, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, in Fort Worth. Service: Inurnment will be at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Sam was born Nov. 30, 1922, in Hubbard to S.W. and Della King Coker. He served in the U.S. Army for three years and worked as a distributor for Budget Rent-A-Car. Sam was a Mason, Shriner, Jester and a former member of Ridglea Country Club. Survivors: Wife, Noney Jackson Coker; Noney's son, John Jackson and wife, Lisa; the apples of his eyes, his granddaughters, Coral and Kaia; niece, Kay Mitchell; and nephew, Jerry Coker.
