Cletis Willie Humphrey, 80, of Mountain View, Arkansas, formerly of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013.

He was born Dec. 19, 1932, at Peach Orchard, Arkansas, to the late Jessie and Otra Humphrey. Mr. Humphrey retired after 34 years with City Water & Light.

He will be remembered as a child of God and an accomplished coon-dog trainer. He was featured in Full Cry magazine many times as a master gardener. God blessed him with a beautiful high tenor voice and the ability to play many instruments.

During his lifetime he made numerous friends and always made time to help a friend in need.

He is survived by a daughter and her husband, Carolyn and Jeff Carter of Mountain View; three sons, Danny Humphrey (Marsha) of Flippen, Richard Humphrey of Jonesboro and Gary Wayne Humphrey (Leah Ann) of Eads, Tenn.; two brothers and their wives, Jay and Delores Humphrey of Sacremento, Calif., and Jack and Jean Humphrey of Mira Loma, Calif.; three sisters, Arbra May Garner and Maxine Foster, both of Paragould, and Irene Cook of Rainbow City, Ala.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

A graveside service were at Trinity Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
