Joseph L. "Jodie" Robey, 76, Louisville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at UofL Hospital. He was born on Feb. 15, 1937 and formerly of Marion County. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Joseph Albert "Tuck" Robey and Mary Margaret Downs Robey; and his first wife, Carol Ann Riggs Robey. Survivors include: his wife, Mary Frances Bartley Robey; four sons, Steven Robey, Scott Bartley, Joseph L. Robey Jr. and Michael Leon Robey; and one daughter, Mary "Ginger" Blakeney. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Saint Francis, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle and Rev. Johnny Johnson will concelebrate. Visitations will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 N. Preston Hwy., Shepherdsville, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Visitations will be held at 11 a.m. till 9 p.m. Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Pallbearers were Travis Jennette, Brandon Henon, Larry Nalley, Mark Meredith, Ronnie Robey, and Robbie Bowman.
