Heart Attack Fatal For Oscar Deal, Pioneer Farmer
Oscar Henry Deal. 64, who had lived near Jones since he was a child four years old, died last Thursday night at his home two miles southwest of Jones, of a heart attack. He had been in failing health several months. Services were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church in Jones. Burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Mr. Deal came to Oklahoma county in 1889 with his parents. the late Mr. and Mrs. Winfield Scott Deal. Survivors are his wife, Dot; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Gray, Weatherford; Mrs. Harvey Burch, route 4; Mrs. Henry Craig, Jones; two sons, Oscar Deal, Jones, and Roy Deal, Midwest City; four brothers, A. W. Deal, Fred Deal and Ira Deal, Jones, John of Luther, and one sister, Mrs. Susie Judkins, Jones.

Rites for Oscar Henry Deal, 64, retired Jones farmer, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Jones Methodist church, Baggerley funeral home, Edmond, will direct services and burial in Jones Cemetery. Deal, an 89er, died Thursday night of a heart attack. He had lived in Jones since coming to Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Gray, Weatherford; Mrs. Harvey Burch, route 4, and Mrs. Henry Craig, Jones; two sons, Oscar Deal, Jones, and Roy Deal, Midwest City; four brothers, Bert, Fred and Ira Deal all of Jones, and John, Luther, and a sister, Mrs. Susie Judkins, Jones.
