Larry E. Kuntz, Sr., 73, of Camp Hill, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in his home.
He was a retired Assistant Chief for the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire, former vice president and President of Local 428 International Association of Firefighters and current president of the IAFF Retired Firefighters Association; United States Marine Corps Veteran and graduate of John Harris High School, Class of 1955. He was also a member of Enola American Legion and the Verhovay Home Association, Harrisburg.
Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia.
He is survived by two sons, Larry E. Kuntz, Jr. and wife Debra, Hanover and Jason R. Kuntz and wife Windy, Camp Hill; one brother, Robert Kegris, Jr., Harrisburg; one sister, Linda Miller and husband Donald, Shippensburg and seven grandchildren, Scott, Jennifer, Trevor, Olivia, Jeremy, Damien and Samantha.
At Larry's request, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Dennis E. Snider, former Chaplain, Harrisburg Bureau of Fire, Officiating.
Arrangements by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital City Paid Fireman's Relief and Pension Fund Association, Local 428, 2048 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104.
