Zachariah Greer married 1st. 4 Feb. 1833 in Nelson Co. Ky., Caroline Poole, & they had known children Joseph W., John Samuel & Lucy Jane Greer. He married 2nd. 11 Aug. 1846 in Anderson Co. Ky., Mrs. Mary Brisco Moffett, & they had known children Susan C. Greer & Mary Clay Greer. He married 3rd. 9 June 1852 in Shelby Co. Ky. (also recorded 5 Jan. 1852 in Anderson Co. Ky.), Josephine Whitehouse, & they had known children Sarah Taylor, Eliza Frances, Nancy E., Thomas Gideon, Zachariah H. & James B. Greer. In addition to his 11 known children he may also have had 7 other unidentified children. Zachariah resided in Anderson Co. Ky. 1850, 1860 & 1870 and in Washington Co. Ky. 1880.
