Carl W. Foore of Saxton died February 13, 1963, in the Church of the Brethren Home at Scalp Level. He was born December 17, 1890 at Hyndrnan, Bedford County, a son of Wilson M. and Mary (Daugherty) Foore. He was married to Bertha M. Manley on July 18, 1914, at Six Mile Run. She preceded him in death on December 20, 1962. Surviving! are two daughters, Mrs. William (Mary) Wilkins and Mrs. Chester (Maxine) Lynn, both of Fairiess Hills. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Himes of Harrisburg and Mrs. Clarice Green of Salem, Ohio. Two sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Foore Had been employed by Blair Engineering for a period of 30 years. For a span of 25 years he served as a mine foreman for the company.
