He worked at Adamstown Equipment for 27 years, most recently as shop foreman. Gockley was a member of The Worship Center in Leola where he was a small group leader and worked in the Toddler Twos area. He enjoyed hunting and NASCAR. Born in Brecknock Township he was the son of Glenn B. and Margaret nee Weber Gockley, Mohnton. He was married 21 years on February 14, 2002, to Shelby Eileen nee Landis Gockley. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are four daughters: Ashley, Krista, Amanda, and Tiana, all at home; sisters Betty, married to Jeff Yuninger, Mohnton and Brenda, married to Ted Brubaker, Stevens, Lancaster County; and brothers: Galen, married to Donna Sauder of Philedalphia, NY; Darrel married to Loretta Clisham, Adamstown; and Lamar, married to Michelle Arment, Mohnton, PA.
