Services for Thomas A. Moffett, 77, of Kerrville, who died Thursday in a local hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Cleve Wheelus will officiate and burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels. Born in Prince George, Md., Dec. 2, 1910, he was a retired electrician for Ethyl Corp. Mr. Moffett lived in Kerrville 17 years, moving here from Houston. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Eleanor Beale, on June 15,1981. On Jan. 15, 1983, he married Helen Hall, who survives. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, serving as a deacon, ruling elder and for the last 12 years clerk of session. Mr. Moffett was instrumental in the construction of Kerr County Day Care. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Other survivors include one son, F. Lindsay Moffett of Missouri City; a sister, Mrs. Betty Wagner of Denton, Md.; two grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
