LOCKNEY (Special) - Services for Lucile Ann Jarboe Johnson, 82, of Lockney will be at 2:30 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Byard, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Lockney Cemetery under direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Lockney.
She died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999, in Mangold Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 3, 1916, in Lexington, Okla. She moved to Floyd County from Oklahoma in 1921. She attended Lone Star schools in Floyd County. She married Ike Johnson on Aug. 17, 1932, in Fort Sumner, N.M. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lockney, where she taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Lockney and Good Sams Travel Club. A son, Larry, died in 1948.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Tom of the Providence community; two daughters, Betty Gilbert of Lubbock and Rita Pollard of Fraser, Mich.; a sister, Billie Rue Dorsett of Lamesa; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. today.
The family suggests memorials to the Lockney Senior Citizens, P.O. Box 82, Lockney 79241 or to a favorite charity.
