FORT WORTH - Rochelle Blair White, 67, of Kerrville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at a Fort Worth hospital. She was born in Denton, Jan. 14, 1935, to William and Inez (Blaine) Blair. She married Edward Arthur White on May 27, 1967, in Denton. He preceded her in death in March 1984.
Rochelle graduated from Southern Methodist University and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She remained active as an alumna. She also was an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Kerrville.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia White Llewellyn and husband, Paul, of Aledo; one grandchild, John Edward Llewellyn; two stepsons, Davis Pitts and his wife, Lyndi, of Fort Worth and Doug Pitts and wife, Denise, of Houston, and their families; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Nancy White of Denton, and their family; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen White of Dallas; and a host of other family and friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Stockton Williams and the Rev. Red Bond officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
